Practial Driving Course (PDC)

WHAT IS PRACTICAL DRIVING COURSE (PDC)?

The Practical Driving Course (PDC) is a mandatory hands-on driving training required by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) before you can apply for a Non-Professional, Professional Driver’s License and Additional Driver’s License Code in the Philippines.

Unlike the Theoretical Driving Course (TDC), which focuses on traffic laws and road theory, the Practical Driving Course is designed to develop real driving skills through supervised, behind-the-wheel training.

At BES Driving School, our LTO-accredited PDC program provides structured and instructor-guided road training to ensure you are confident, responsible, and fully prepared for actual driving conditions.

What You Will Learn in the Practical Driving Course

During your PDC training, you will develop essential driving competencies including:

  • Proper vehicle control (Manual or Automatic transmission)
  • Starting, stopping, and gear shifting techniques
  • Real traffic road exposure
  • Defensive driving strategies
  • Parking and maneuvering (parallel, reverse, angle parking)
  • Road hazard awareness and emergency response
  • Proper lane discipline and road etiquette

Our instructors guide you step-by-step to ensure safe skill progression from basic vehicle control to real-world traffic situations.
